Ever dreamed of learning to SCUBA dive?

There is a definite time and place for sinking your toes into the sand, soaking in the sun for hours at a time with a good book and an umbrella-adorned drink.

But you’d be missing out if you didn’t take the chance to see what lies deep beneath the sea, where the reefs surrounding Little Palm Island teem with colorful marine wildlife. Whether you prefer the more leisurely pace of snorkeling, or want to explore further with SCUBA, there’s plenty to discover in the warm waters.

Their on-island PADI Dive Center offers classes ranging from introductory and refresher courses to Advanced Open Water training for more experienced divers.  They even offer home-study SCUBA certification courses, so you can do more than daydream as you count down the days to your vacation.
We recommend:

The Adolphus Busch Dive, where you’ll explore a freighter that lies beneath over a hundred feet of water.  The ship now hosts a variety of fish, jellyfish, and eels.

The Twi-Nite Dive, an after-hours combo dive that will allow you to experience the wonders of the deep just before and just after sunset.  After dark, a whole new world of sea life emerges, including nocturnal crustaceans and bioluminescent plankton.

Happy Diving!
