A few weeks ago I visited Washington, D.C. to help with training for the two new offices that recently joined FROSCH. While I was there, I stayed at the comfortable and elegant Fairmont Washington, D.C.
It's located in Washington's fashionable West End, within walking distance of Georgetown and two metro stations. It's a very walkable neighborhood with a large selection of casual and high-end restaurants, shops, and bars close by. The hotel, popular with heads of state and celebrities, has embraced a "green" initiative, of which the rooftop honeybees and herb garden are the crowning glory.
The staff were friendly, working their magic behind the scenes. We ate breakfast at Juniper restaurant several times during our stay. Both the a-la-carte choices and the buffet were fantastic. I recommend their street-facing tables which are great for people-watching!
