The sloths are coming... s-l-o-w-l-y

You might be familiar with this video that went viral a few years ago due to its overwhelming abundance of cuteness. It introduced the world to baby orphan sloths in Costa Rica doing their thing: scratching their bottoms, sharing green beans Lady-and-the-Tramp-style, hugging teddy bears, falling over, eating treats, and snoozin'. Snoozin' and treats.

Now, the original filmmaker, Lucy Cooke, has been tapped by Animal Planet for a full-length sloth-centric documentary, Slothville, which airs this Saturday at 8PM.

Come to think of it, Costa Rica just might be the epicenter of baby animal cuteness. Not only is it home to the Sloth Sanctuary (accessible by bus from San Jose), it's also the egg-laying grounds for endangered sea turtles. If there's a dearth of cuteness in your life, it just might be worth a trip!
